Angela DiPre, 98, a Wingdale resident for the past 45 years, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at New Milford Hospital in New Milford, CT. Mrs. DiPre was a caregiver and operated a community residence for Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center patients for many years.

Born on November 1, 1914, Collier, VA, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Corradi) Cadore. On October 25, 1954 in Italy, she married Rinaldo DiPre who survives at home.

Mrs. DiPre was a member of the Dover-Wingdale Senior Citizens and the Dover Bowling League. She was a wonderful cook, especially known for her great tomato sauce. An avid antique collector, she loved going to flea markets. She also enjoyed taking senior citizen’s trips as well as making several visits to Italy. Mrs. DiPre was a longtime parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Dover Plains.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Rosemary DiPre of Wingdale. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Tela Cook and three brothers, John, Geno and Raymond Cadore.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 83 Mill St., Dover Plains, NY.
