Jean D. Krivacs, 79, a longtime resident of Wassaic, NY, died on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. Born on August 6, 1934 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Dunbar) Pedley. On October 30, 1954 in Cambria Heights, NY she married Richard Krivacs who survives at home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Marion Krivacs of Boston, MA, Diane Perry and her husband Herb, of Schuyler Falls, NY, Laura Vik and her husband Larry, of Millerton, NY and Janet Robbins and her husband John, of Ashburnham, MA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Scott Perry, Amanda Senter, Peder Vik, Brent Perry, David Campos, Kari Baird, and Joshua and Makaylah Vaillancourt and four great-grandchildren, Alexander Campos, James and Christopher Baird and Cameron Senter.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the South Amenia Presbyterian Church, 229 South Amenia Rd., Wassaic, NY with Rev. Zora Ficarra Cheatham officiating.
