Linwood A. Conley, 86, a longtime resident of Wingdale, NY died on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Dutchess Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Pawling, NY. Mr. Conley was a steamfitter at Pawling Rubber Company in Pawling, NY for 35 years retiring in 1992.

Born on April 28, 1928 in Ashland, ME he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Mae (Nesbitt) Conley. Mr. Conley proudly served in the U.S. Army. On July 16, 1949 in Bridgewater, ME he married Marion NcNinch who survives at home. Mr. Conley was a member of the Dover First Baptist Church in Wingdale, NY.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Conley is survived by his three sons, Robert Conley and his wife, Barbara of Kerhonkson, NY, Neil Conley and his wife, Marilyn on Spearhead, GA and Jeffery Conley of Wycombe, PA; a brother, Philip Conley of West Virginia; two sisters, Hazel Staples of Presque Isle, ME and Katherine Adams of Washburn, ME. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Sarah, Ariel, Sean, Jason and Lindsey Conley and Tara Bosley and eleven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Dover First Baptist Church, 6483 Route 55, Wingdale, NY with Rev. Anthony Bacino officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at South Dover Rural Cemetery in Wingdale, NY.
