Benjamin Scott Fillhart, 32, a resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Monday, March 23, 2015 at home. Born on September 1, 1982 in Fort Knox, KY he was the son of Mark A. Fillhart of Dover Plains, NY and Mary Mackay of Milan, NY. Ben graduated Red Hook Central Schools class of 2001. He was an avid gamer and loved board games and videos.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Doris Fillhart of Dover Plains, NY; his maternal grandmother, Jean Spade of Warsaw, KY; a brother, Michael Fillhart of Dover Plains, NY and a sister, Brittany Fillhart of Dover Plains, NY and a nephew, Tristan Fillhart of Dover Plains, NY. He is also survived by his step-father, Brian Scott Mackay; a step-brother, Brian Phillip Mackay; a step-sister, Amanda R. Mackay; a step-aunt, Linda Mackay; extended family in Arizona; several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Bev Risi officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Dover Plains, NY.
