Carla A. Frenyea, 64, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY, died on Friday September 4, 2015 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Mrs. Frenyea was a registered nurse at the Wassaic Developmental Center in Wassaic, NY for 27 years retiring in 1999.

Born on December 15, 1950 in Plattsburgh, NY she was the daughter of Elizabeth Powell of Plattsburgh, NY and the late Carl Frenyea.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Frenyea is survived by her four sons, Christopher Frenyea-White of Wassaic, NY and Michael, Lyndon and Todd LaValley all of Tupper Lake, NY. She is also survived by a sister, Bobbi Frenyea of Plattsburgh, NY and six great-grandchildren, Faith and Christina Frenyea-White and Gauge, Garrett, Jayden and Ciarra LaValley.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
