Seth R. McNeil, 56, a lifelong area resident, died on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at New Milford Hospital in New Milford, CT. Mr. McNeil was a food service supervisor at the Wassaic Developmental Center and later worked as a custodian at Kildonan School in Amenia, NY.

Born on August 24, 1958 in Sharon, CT he was the son of the late Elias and Margaret (Potter) McNeil. On August 23, 1980 in Pawling, NY he married Theresa Emerson who survives at home. Mr. McNeil was a member of the Millerton Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, Mr. McNeil is survived by two daughters, Nicole McNeil of Amenia, NY and Crystal Kaiser of Dover Plains, NY; a brother, Edmund McNeil of Stanfordville, NY; a granddaughter, Lilianna Kaiser and expecting a granddaughter, Mariah Bradley. He was predeceased by two brothers, Albert and George McNeil and three sisters, Betty McNeil, Dorothy Roger and Madeline Connley.
